O meu nome é João Pedro Almeida

Nasci em Lisboa e desde muito cedo senti o poder da atração pela fotografia, aos 9 anos era deslumbrante manusear a Yashica Electro 35 do meu Pai.

​

Findei o Curso da Art em 2017 e tirei uma certificação de formação profissional de fotografia noturna no Instituto Português de Fotografia.

​

Considero-me versátil aos temas e projetos que me têm sido propostos, gosto de sair da minha zona de conforto para evoluir e lidar com a técnica criativa. Musculando um exercício de humildade face ao ego, permito-me sempre a aprender e a crescer artística e tecnicamente.

​

Acredito no poder apelativo da imagem, no que relata e transmite. A fotografia tem o dom da partilha sucedânea e infinita.

O meu gosto preferencial vai para a fotografia de paisagem pelo contacto com a natureza que me proporciona.

My name is João Pedro Almeida

I was born in Lisbon and from an early age I felt the power of attraction for photography, at 9 years old it was amazing to handle my Father's Yashica Electro 35.

I completed the Art Course in 2017 and obtained a certification of professional training in night photography at the Portuguese Institute of Photography.

I consider myself versatile to the themes and projects that have been proposed to me, I like to leave my comfort zone to evolve and deal with the creative technique. By building an exercise of humility in the face of ego, I always allow myself to learn and grow artistically and technically.

I believe in the appealing power of the image, in what it reports and transmits. Photography has the gift of repeated and infinite sharing.
The kind of photography I like best is landscape photography and the contact with nature that gives me.
